Benoy is honoured to have received three 2017 MIPIM Asia Awards for the firm’s projects – two Silver and one Bronze – presented yesterday evening as part of the MIPIM Asia property leaders’ summit in Hong Kong.
This is the ninth consecutive year that Benoy’s work has been recognised with the prestigious awards, which honours outstanding projects in the property industry across the Asia-Pacific region. The three winning schemes include One Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand (Silver, Best Futura Project), LOTTE World Tower & Mall in Seoul, South Korea (Silver, Best Mixed-Use Development) and Starfield Hanam in Hanam, South Korea (Bronze, Best Retail Development).

Starfield Hanam opened in September 2016 in the city of Hanam in Gyeonggi Province. As a multi-level lifestyle destination, the development includes four levels of retail, leisure, food and beverage, cultural and entertainment facilities, and distinct areas for families, teenagers and Korea’s most discerning shoppers.
The development is positioned near some of Korea’s tourist hot-spots and is set beside an expansive lake with a sweeping mountainous backdrop. One of the largest shopping malls in the country, Starfield Hanam boasts over 5,400 parking spaces to accommodate the influx of residents and tourists alike.
