Benoy warmly congratulates CapitaLand Group on its recently held Grand Opening Ceremony of Raffles City The Bund at the Outdoor Plaza of the development, located on Dongdaming Road near Gongping Road in the Hongkou District of Shanghai.
Raffles City The Bund is one of the most anticipated commercial projects in the country and has a remarkable 92% occupancy rate, and 50% of the first-time brands recorded 300,000 customers on the first day of opening.
Raffles City The Bund is another CapitaLand masterpiece in the commercial capital of Shanghai following the success of Shanghai Raffles Plaza and Changning Raffles Plaza. As the latest generation of Raffles products, Raffles City The Bund is located in the core area ofthe North Bund. With its significant location advantages, it is poised as a leading regional boutique commercial project.
With the theme of “Double Delights”, this new lifestyle destination aims to create a lively and interesting hub, serving as a commercial innovation ground and creating a brand space that blends the characteristics of the North Bund, and providing consumers with diverse and unique consumption experiences.
Raffles City The Bund is a mixed-use development located in the Hongkou District of Shanghai. This prime asset will become CapitaLand’s third Raffles City integrated development in Shanghai, which will also be its ninth in China and 10th globally. Sitting on a 4.05-hectare site along Huangpu River in North Bund, the integrated development comprises two 50-storey premium Grade A office towers linked at the base by a seven-storey shopping mall. The development is directly linked to Line 12 and upcoming Line 19, two major metro lines with the highest number of interchange stations in the city.
Key attendees of the Grand Opening included Mr. Chen Yongming, CapitaLand Group (China) Commercial Management CEO; Mr. Pan Zixiang, CEO of Capital Group (China) Investment and Portfolio Management and Mr. Kang Huizhen, CapitaLand Group (China) Finance and Corporate Management Chief Executive Officer. Singapore’s Ambassador to China Mr. Lu Tak Yew also graced the event.
Government representatives included Mr. Liu Min, Deputy Director of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce; Mr. Guo Fang, Secretary of the Hongkou District Party Committee and Mr. Hu Guangjie, Deputy Secretary of the Hongkou District Committee and District Mayor.
