Today, we celebrate an important milestone — 75 years of design success.
Benoy began life as a three-person architect firm designing cowsheds in rural Nottinghamshire, England in 1947. Over the past seven decades, we have grown internationally and have been joined by three sister businesses – Pragma, Holmes Wood and Uncommon Land – to make up the family of businesses known as Handley House.
Across the business, we have always retained an unwavering belief in design as a force for good. Design that is tailored to the needs of those who live in, work in and use the destinations we create. We have always cared about the people and places we design for, wanting to help shape sustainable urban environments for future generations. To that end, social wellbeing, sustainable development and economic prosperity remain at the heart of everything we do.
Over the decades, Benoy has grown rapidly and come a long way. With seven studios around the world and projects in over 50 countries, Benoy has proven expertise in delivering a building and understanding the long-term value it can provide. Now an established international brand, we continue to innovate and evolve and are proud of a portfolio that includes Alibaba, Bin Dayel Investment, Changi Airport Group and Siam Piwat. From the Shires to Shanghai, we have come a long way, but we have not forgotten who we are.
