Benoy Landscape Architecture brings integrated sustainable placemaking to Asia Pacific

We are delighted to announce the expansion of Benoy Landscape Architecture to the Asia Pacific region with the opening of a studio in Singapore.

With an understanding of human experiences, combined with the principles of sustainable design, Benot Landscape Architecture are passionate about creating beautiful, inclusive and sustainable spaces for the communities they serve. From strategy and masterplanning to parks and squares, the team approach each landscape design as a form of storytelling; one which enables memorable and meaningful interactions with the built environment.

Tom Cartledge, CEO of Handley House, said, “My vision has always been to diversify our skills and services in direct response to our communities and the changing world we live in. Uncommon Land’s expansion into APAC is the natural next step in leveraging our landscape design expertise to create flexible, adaptable and sustainable urban spaces. Building on the strength of the Benoy network and its 75 years of international heritage, I am excited for Uncommon Land to partner with our clients in this part of the world, offering integrated design that creates world-class sustainable placemaking for the planet and future generations.”

Terence Seah, Director and Head of Hong Kong, Singapore and Shenzhen, said, “We are excited to bring our unique value proposition to one of the most dynamic and fast-evolving regions of the world. The team offers a wealth of experience, industry knowledge and creativity to help our APAC clients create environmentally sustainable and commercially successful assets that deliver memorable green experiences with a positive impact.”

Simon Grimbley will continue to lead our London studio, whilst Ray Vees Goh will lead our new Singapore team.
