On 26 September, the team at Hong Kong Studio went on a site visit to Nina Mall I & II, ChinaChem Group’s flagship project in the New Territories West in Hong Kong. Located on Tai Ho Road in Tsuen Wan west District, the retail complex is a project designed by Benoy Hong Kong Studio. The project started in 2014 and launched in 2021.
The attendees include Nick Chan, Alien Chan, Danny Yang, Charlie Zhu, Christy Li, Hina Liang, Teri Tsang and Jackie Wong.
Led by Jackie Wong, the team walked through the iconic landmark and reminisce how they came up with the strategies behind it and tackled the challenges together as one team, from concept design to completion. One of the challenges was to blend in new design with existing features that the client wishes to keep while ensuring optimal retail experience for users.
From the designed blueprints to now a reality right in front of us, we could touch the materials and immerse in the spatial experience. It was very rewarding to see our ideas come to life.
We would like to thank the project team for making this project a success!
