Benoy and Benoy’s sister business Pragma Consulting enjoyed a successful few days at MAPIC last week, the international real estate trade show which typically attracts over 5000 leading figures from the world of retail.
The team, which included Tom Cartledge, Handley House CEO; Simon Bee, Benoy Design Director; Alex Avery, CEO Pragma Consulting; Clarissa Wenborn, Benoy Architect Associate Director and Sarah Hubbard, Head of Marketing EMEA, enjoyed a busy few days meeting with clients and sharing our latest thinking on global retail and placemaking schemes.
As part of our programme, we had a stand in Riviera 7’s main hall complete with a digital sketching board where we took clients through live design ideas. We also chaired a table at a workshop exploring the latest thinking in sustainable retail. Key themes discussed included improving energy efficiency on retail sites and exploring more ways to repurpose existing buildings for retail use.
