Benoy was proud to be actively involved in the ULI India Summit 2023 and Study Tour in Mumbai from 15 – 16 February 2023, further developing our presence in the real estate industry in India.
Held at the historical Taj Mahal Palace, the inaugural summit, which was attended by a select group of influential real estate and experts from India and abroad, featured Study Tours, roundtable sessions and networking opportunities.
Joining the 2‑day event in-person, the Benoy leadership includes Komal Datta, Divisional Director, and Gregory Kovacs, Design Director.
Gregory commented:
“It’s a pleasure to meet new and old clients, partners, and friends, to deep-dive into some of the design best practices and our continued efforts to drive innovation and sustainability in the real estate sector. Over the past years, Benoy has made sustainability its core focus, incorporating sustainability principles into our designs and taking on more repositioning projects.”
Study Tours in Mumbai:
The summit kicked off with the ULI India Mumbai Study Tour on 15 February, which gave attendees a firsthand look at some of the most innovative real estate developments in Mumbai.
The tour included visits to six different projects, from business commercial hubs, to street level urban interventions, restoration and heritage conservation schemes, and repurposed and remodeled projects.
Participants had the opportunity to meet with local real estate industry leaders and learn about the design and development strategies behind these projects.
Summit:
On 16 February, the summit continued with a series of panel discussions and roundtable sessions on a range of topics, including the impact of technology on real estate, sustainable development practices, and the future of the Indian real estate market.
Komal Datta and Gregory Kovacs shared their expertise and thoughts on the integration of technology and architecture, as well as some of Benoy’s successful stories and repurposing projects.
Thank you to all organizers of ULI India Summit for making the event a success. We look forward to welcoming future sustainability and innovation exchanges in years to come.
