The Shanghai Yuqiao 04 project is a modern office and exhibition space located in the subdistrict of Yuqiao in Pudong. Designed by Benoy in collaboration with the Lujiazui Development Group, the project aims to provide cutting-edge office and exhibition facilities for the rapidly developing science and innovation hub of Yuqiao.
The new space is located on the 15th floor of the building and offers stunning views over the surrounding area. Home to 1,000 m² of floor space, it incorporates a diverse range of functions including a reception area, a meeting space, an exhibition space, a rest area, and office facilities. The space is designed based on the ‘Green Axis’ concept used in other parts of the Yuqiao development and is filled with an extensive selection of greenery that helps to create a welcoming natural environment for visitors.
Upon arrival at the 15th floor via a rapid elevator system, the visitors step into the elevator lobby adorned with grey marble and glass elements, which complements the elegant light strips with bevelled edges. Additionally, futuristic AI elements are incorporated into the design that adds to its functional and corporate atmosphere.
The reception area is filled with lush greenery and furnished with a comfortable corner sofa to create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors, while large windows flood the area with plenty of natural light. From there, visitors can proceed to the exhibition space, where they will encounter a collection of innovative 3D stands and transparent LED displays which offer a glimpse into the Lujiazui Development Group and presents the company’s blueprint for the Pudong district. Some areas of the space are intentionally left empty to accommodate future exhibitions.
One of the highlights of the exhibition space is an audio-visual room that offers visitors a fully immersive experience, courtesy of its cutting-edge technology features. These include a large 120-degree curved screen, a JBL 360-degree surround sound system and a star-themed ceiling.
The office area is equipped with an array of amenities, including a group of comfortable sofas, a 20-person meeting room with smart glass that turns opaque on demand for privacy, and an adjacent relaxation area with an electric height-adjustable bar counter. When the glass partition is transparent, the meeting room and the tea break area can be visually integrated, providing the flexibility to switch freely between private and public use of the space.
The new space offers a blend of cutting-edge office amenities and an exhibition area that offers comprehensive in-depth information into the development of Yuqiao. With this unique combination of features, the new space promises to provide future tenants a comfortable, eco-friendly, and efficient workspace.
