MIPIM Asia Awards: Recognizing Excellence in Asia-Pacific Real Estate

Established in 2007, the MIPIM Asia Awards have been committed to recognising and celebrating outstanding and innovative accomplishments in the Asia-Pacific real estate industry. These awards stand as a definitive benchmark, acknowledging excellence in real estate projects across the region.

The awards meticulously access projects across five crucial aspects: overall sustainability, community integration, user experience, economic contribution, and conceptual innovation. Congratulations to all the accomplished colleagues who have made impactful contributions to the real estate industry in the Asia-Pacific region.

MOHO: Redefining Luxury Living

Situated at the vibrant crossroads of Jiangning Road, Changping Road, and North Shaanxi Road in Shanghai’s bustling Jing’an District, MOHO sets itself apart from the luxury-centric West Nanjing Road commercial area. Embracing the concept of Chic Luxury” — Life More Extraordinary, it offers a distinctive experience, competing with the conventional commercial complexes of Nanjing West Road.

Spanning a total volume of approximately 180,000 m², MOHO comprises an 80,000 m² chic shopping mall, a 50,000 m² smart office building, and a 50,000 m² high-end hotel-style service apartment residence.

Harmonious Blend: Old Jing’an Meets Modern Ecological Design

Benoy’s comprehensive interior design services for MOHO skillfully blend the historical, cultural, and artistic essence of Old Jing’an with modern ecological design concepts. The resulting spaces not only forge a strong connection to nature but also evoke a nostalgic ambiance reflective of the local surroundings.

Customizing the spatial tone to resonate with the project’s target audience, Benoy seamlessly integrates the profound cultural and historical context of the location with the architectural style of the new Shikumen-style lanes — a traditional Shanghainese architectural blend of Western and Chinese elements dating back to the 1860s. Beyond the rich tapestry of culture and history, the design incorporates a forward-thinking ecological concept of a 24-hour urban oasis,” achieving a perfect synthesis of history, commerce, and nature within the MOHO.

Nature-Infused Design

The integration of green materials, platforms, wooden grilles, and continuous lighting in the interior seamlessly connects the space with nature. Each step offers visitors diverse scenery, complemented by the presence of natural green plants throughout. The design is crafted to evoke a love for life, showcasing nature’s vitality and artistic expression while concurrently activating the commercial space.
