We are delighted to announce the highly anticipated grand opening of Kunming MixC, which took place in December 2023, drawing an impressive footfall of over 250,000 visitors on its inaugural day. This significant project, a collaboration between China Resources Land and Yunnan Construction Investment Holding Group, sets a milestone as the 100th shopping center operated by CR MixC Lifestyle.
During this momentous occasion, we had the privilege of having Associate Director Vicky Wang represent Benoy to attend the grand opening. Benoy played a pivotal role in the master planning and architectural design of the landmark project, making significant contributions to its overall layout. As one of the architects involved, Benoy brought extensive expertise and creative vision to the project, creating a cohesive urban complex that caters to the needs of Kunming residents and visitors.

“Drawing inspiration from the vibrant local culture and urban context, our design approach seamlessly integrates Yunnan’s terraced landscapes and local tradition into a modern setting. Showcasing unique architectural aesthetics and rich natural landscapes, Kunming MixC represents a successful integration of local culture, catering to the needs of the community and leading the urban lifestyle in first-tier cities. Kunming MixC serves as a major transportation hub for the eastern expansion of the city while offering a one-stop lifestyle experience that encompasses dining, entertainment, and leisure activities, and we are honored to be part of the development.”

Covering a vast construction area of approximately 140,000 sqm, Kunming MixC stands tall with eight floors above ground and four floors below ground. Boasting an impressive lineup, it introduces over 300 brands across various captivating lifestyle scenes, including sports, parent-child zone, fashion, jewelry, technology, and F&B. Nearly 70 brands make their debut with their first stores, new concept stores, or flagship stores, providing visitors with an unparalleled and comprehensive consumer experience. Aspiring to be the iconic destination of the eastern part of Kunming, Kunming MixC takes the lead in shaping the city’s lifestyle trends.
The grand opening of Kunming MixC was accompanied by a series of events that celebrated the fusion of international art, local culture, and contemporary trends.
