Benoy proudly took home two accolades at the MIPIM Asia Awards 2024, held on December 4th at the Grand Hyatt in Hong Kong. This achievement marks an impressive 16th consecutive year of recognition at MIPIM Asia, reaffirming our commitment to excellence in design and innovation.
We are thrilled to share our wins:
• Suzhou Central:

Bronze Award for Best Mixed-Use Project
Representing Benoy, Teri Tsang, Director and Hong Kong Studio Lead, and Vicky Wang, Associate Director, accepted the awards on stage. We warmly congratulate our design teams for their exceptional effort and design vision, and extend our heartfelt appreciation to our clients for their trust and collaboration.
Additionally, West Bund Central received the Gold Award for Best New Mega Development, underscoring our remarkable collaboration with Hongkong Land, the developer behind three of these winning projects. Benoy is honoured to have provided the full architectural design of the retail podium, further demonstrating our expertise in creating impactful, landmark destinations.
Beyond the gala dinner, the MIPIM Asia Summit featured a two-day conference where leading professionals in the Asian property market convened to forge partnerships and gain valuable insights through keynote speeches and panel discussions.
Teri Tsang commented on The Ring, Chengdu,
“We are incredibly honoured to receive this recognition for The Ring, Chengdu. Since its opening in June, it has quickly become a vibrant lifestyle destination, showcasing our commitment to creating spaces that inspire creativity and foster shared experiences.
This recognition is a testament to the collaborative efforts of our team and visionary support of our client, Hongkong Land, who were instrumental in bringing this project to life.”
Qin Pang, Director, Head of Shanghai Studio, commented on Suzhou Central,
“Hongkong Land and Suzhou Yuanrong (Sungent Group) collaborated to create Suzhou Central, a luxury business and lifestyle experience, with an extraordinary focus on high design standards from the earliest design process stages. Our design emphasises public-space connectivity in the Suzhou Hudong area, maximising the benefits of the lake view while harmonizing with the surrounding hotel, art centre, and landscape.
Through integrated connections — including underground subway links, above-ground bridges, a rooftop public platform, and ground-level traffic system, the project multi-dimensionally integrates into the overall urban public space system, establishing itself as a key urban node. The MIPIM Gold Award affirms the significance of our efforts and the difference this project is making.”
