On December 27, 2024, Oasis Wisdom Valley Garden, jointly developed by Caohejing Group and China Merchants Shekou Industrial Zone Holdings Co., Ltd., officially opened in the Zhaoxiang area of Caohejing. Benoy provided the interior design and commercial planning for this project.
Associate Director of Interior Design, Louise Ma, and the Benoy team, attended the event, marking a new era for the TOD (Transit-Oriented Development) industrial-city community landmark in Shanghai’s Qingpu District.
A New Commercial Landmark in Qingpu
Oasis Wisdom Valley Garden’s opening marks the debut of the northern commercial zone of the Yangtze River Delta Oasis Wisdom Valley Zhaoxiang project. The entire development is strategically divided into two sections, north and south, positioned on either side of Jiangsong Middle Road Station on Shanghai Metro Line 17. Spanning approximately 55,000 sqm of commercial space, the southern area, also designed by Benoy, is set to open in 2025.
Transforming Zhaoxiang’s Commercial Landscape
Unlike the Xujing area of Qingpu District, which has seen rapid large-scale commercial growth, Zhaoxiang has had fewer large-scale developments. Oasis Wisdom Valley Garden revitalises the area, creating new opportunities and vibrancy.
Located at the heart of the high-tech innovation district, the project serves as a model of industrial-commercial integration, targeting the growing population of high-consumption industry professionals. It supports daily work needs while offering leisure options to help people unwind and enjoy life to the fullest.
