Benoy provided the interior design and architectural retail planning for the recent opening of Oasis Wisdom Valley Garden. A joint venture between Yangtze River Delta Investment (Shanghai) Group and China Merchants Shekou Group, this project injects new energy into the evolving commercial landscape of Shanghai’s Qingpu District TOD city community.
As the first commercial development in the northern section of the Oasis Smart Valley — Zhaoxiang project, Oasis Wisdom Valley Garden seamlessly integrates with Shanghai Metro Line 17’s Jiasongzhong Road station. With a commercial area of 55,000 square meters, this hub sets the foundation for the entire Zhaoxiang project’s north-south development.
Strategically positioned in Shanghai’s innovation hub, Oasis Wisdom Valley Garden caters to high-tech industries such as new-generation information technology, new energy, and biomedicine. Designed as a dynamic urban destination, it attracts both professionals and local residents, offering a vibrant mix of retail, dining, and leisure. Beyond fulfilling everyday work and social needs, its curated selection of lifestyle brands ensures a future-proof retail experience aligned with evolving consumer preferences.
Benoy’s design philosophy brings nature into the shopping experience. Inspired by forests, valleys, fields, and water, the interiors create an immersive connection with nature, transforming commercial spaces into serene, organic environments.
The cascading architectural lines evoke movement and vitality, shaping fluid, engaging spaces. From suspended atrium ceilings to river-inspired contours and streamlined façades, this design language unifies the entire space.
Drawing inspiration from natural terraces, Benoy crafted multi-level public spaces like the atrium terraces and restroom lounge areas, offering visitors tranquil retreats amidst the bustling city.
The lift halls and elevators feature light, textured, and futuristic elements, while the restrooms incorporate clean aesthetics, tech-driven materials, and vibrant accents to enhance user experience and modern appeal.
As a TOD commercial hub in the Greater Science and Technology Innovation District, Oasis Wisdom Valley Garden is designed around the themes of gourmet, aesthetics, and refined living.
By integrating high-quality lifestyle offerings, specialty dining, cultural and artistic experiences, waterfront leisure, outdoor social spaces, and fitness facilities, it creates a vibrant and multifunctional urban destination.
This seamless blend of commerce, entertainment, and community engagement enhances daily life, offering both residents and visitors unique experiences and new opportunities for exploration.
