Challenge
For its new Toronto store, Canada Goose wanted to create an environment that reflected the fusion of the art and engineering integral to the brand and product; and to convey the brand’s Humanature ethos through materiality and merchandising.
Solution
Working with the Canada Goose team, we crafted a tactile, sensory space using a curated mix of rich, natural textures and finishes. Lighting was used to create an intimate shopping experience and guide customers through the store. For a unique and elevated experience, innovative features like the Cold Room, an arctic and snow simulator for testing merchandise in real-world conditions, were implemented.
Result
The executed design is a strong nod to the brand’s Canadian heritage and helped solidify its timeless, functional aesthetic. The design concept and innovative features complimented the product’s perfect blend of performance and luxury and elevated the store into an experiential shopping destination.
