Following the closure of the Saks anchor, Taubman decided to remove the structure entirely, redirecting both internal and external focus. Benoy faced the challenge of developing a new design, offering an opportunity to reconnect with the adjacent Cherry Creek North property and build on their shared success.
A three-level flagship Restoration Hardware store was strategically positioned as a new mini anchor, creating a grand new mall entrance feature along with expanded concourse retail space and increased Gross Leasable Area (GLA). A focused Restaurant Row was re-imagined including all-season patios, a heated valet pad, and enhanced public amenities.
The Arrival Court features new pavers, flowering shrubs, low evergreen shrubs, upright junipers, and new walkways. It includes a valet booth with an area for VIP car display, creating a distinctive sense of arrival. Restaurant facades have been redesigned to accommodate larger spaces and emphasize patio dining.
