Challenge
Our retail design team was tasked with designing the first retail store for the successful online boxed-mattress brand. The physical store needed to reinforce the brand’s reputation for product quality and seamless shopping, while successfully creating a 360, Endy bedding experience, introducing the brand’s solutions for sleep, complete with a line of lifestyle products.
Solution
With the store located in one of Toronto’s busiest suburban malls, our team leveraged the bold brand colour for awareness and visibility. The design concept focuses on brand enhancement and reinforcement by creating an immersive bedding shopping experience in a warm, intimate, yet modern and seamless environment.
Result
Brand colour Rubine Red envelops the store entrance, making a bold first impression. Inside, the deep blue, secondary colour, achieves a soothing, balanced mood and an elegant contrast against the warm wood flooring and residential style bookcases showcasing bedding and lifestyle products. Touch screens allow customers to shop for products not in-store. String curtains around each mattress display create a sleek, yet intimate atmosphere. Oversize LED frames featuring crisp images of Canadian scenery enhance seasonal moods, and recall the Canadian-designed, ‑made, and operated brand foundations.
