Benoy was instructed to design a headquarters for a well-established publishing business in Gujarat, at a prominent location on a key highway in Ahmedabad. The brief was to develop a landmark office tower which would resonate with the group’s core values, with a focus on green spaces and sustainable design.
The Benoy team designed a distinctive office tower, with three levels of retail, and dedicated drop offs for both office and retail users. The emphasis was on bringing the outdoors inside. The retail entrance into the atrium becomes the heart of the scheme and is an exciting public space to congregate. Extruded green breakout spaces break the monotony of the tall atrium, whilst theatrical bridges connecting office levels add to the dynamism of design. Rooftop sky gardens and terraces provide panoramic views over the city and enhance value for the office spaces. The single tower is split into two offset curved plates, to help break up the massing into two slender towers. This also helps maximise office window seat premium. Ascending landscape, warm and sustainable façade textures and materiality all resonate with the green, warm and earthy aesthetic.
The project is currently under construction and slated to complete in 2026.
