Challenge
Austin-based Kendra Scott wanted a new store concept that fully captured the brand’s core values of family, fashion, and philanthropy and founder Kendra’s love of travel, cultures and architecture. They asked us to create a space for customers to create, shop, and be social.
Solution
“Natural and reflective with a touch of playfulness” is the narrative that drove the concept to design an accessible, tactile, curious, and welcoming space. Details in natural materials and curated visual merchandising embed brand storytelling moments throughout the store.
Result
An experiential, brand-immersive design opens the journey with an outdoor-style courtyard entrance. Hand-painted concrete floor tiles, warm wood-slatted walls, and wooden archways separating different jewelry rooms create a welcoming sense of wonder and discovery. Fluted custom cabinetry in each room houses a seamless RFID lockable POS system. Further inside is the Color Bar — a workshop/lounge space for creating and socializing.
