Challenge
As part of the completion of a major capital project, National Portrait Gallery sought to recognise the generosity of donors who supported their campaign at all levels.
Solution
The team designed new engraved and gilded arrivals which utilised a typeface found in historic inscriptions within the architecture. Stone panels and expert signwriting subtlety embedded within the building provided recognition for major donors whilst, within the galleries, patinated brass name plaques work to support the exhibition design scheme.
We were delighted to support the mosaic-restoration project and be included in a temporary tile installation with other donors and famous portraits from the Collection.

Project is now live.
