Challenge
The National Trust’s Cliveden comprises 375 acres of formal gardens and woodlands overlooking the River Thames. Benoy Branded Environments were tasked with developing a light-touch signage and branding scheme to marry the National Trust identity with an expression of ‘Cliveden’ and ‘Pleasure’.
Solution
Our solution centred on establishing a language that was welcoming and playful, supported by bespoke pictograms and materials intended to give Cliveden a voice throughout the parkland. This new approach to tone, typography, iconography, colour and materials allows the Cliveden personality to shine through, while ensuring visitors know they have arrived at a National Trust property.

Awarded ISTD Typographic Certificate of Excellence for Exhibition Design / Signage Systems.
