Challenge
Covering 307,500 m², our client wanted to create a dynamic complex that seamlessly links residential, office and retail space. The site enjoys unique views of the city and neighbouring park, and it was essential that the design brought modern beauty to the exceptionally picturesque cityscape.
Solution
Drawing on the surrounding geographical forms, we created an organic design that would speak to local businesses and residents alike to unite them. Our masterplan ensured the development linked to the fabric of the city.
Result
Raffles City establishes a vibrant energy, optimising community interaction and improving natural connections between people and place. The wide range of retail and entertainment facilities draw residents from across Shenzhen to the creative Nanshan district, encouraging population flow. It successfully follows the modern concept of a city within a city.
