Challenge
In collaboration with Bravado and Universal Music Group, we were asked to design the first flagship retail store for the iconic Rolling Stones on Carnaby Street in London.
Solution
We wanted to create a celebration of the biggest Rock ’n Roll band ever. The space needed to connect with fans through the band’s music, visuals and fashion merchandise. Flexibility was essential in the fixturing to adapt to the evolving product mix.
Result
The Rolling Stones brand was thoughtfully translated into every part of the design. This included a video wall projecting the band’s history up to their most recent tours and material elements like an iconic 3D lips photo-op moment, and a soundwave sculpture representing the opening to the classic song, “Paint It Black”.
