Solution
The Stephen A. Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities is a major new development in the heart of Oxford. This new academic and public building will bring together seven faculties and libraries, two institutes, a world-class concert hall and three other performance venues, plus exhibition and film-screening spaces. Working closely with the architects, we established creative principles for the wayfinding scheme, embedding the sign system within the architecture where possible, and using sympathetic material palettes, craftspeople and techniques.
Result
Our wayfinding strategy and design will also support key sustainability criteria, ensuring an environmentally-aware development for future generations.
