Shanghai Expo PLACE, located along the Huangpu River in the Expo district, stands as a landmark urban waterfront complex. Benoy was entrusted with interior design and commercial planning for the project’s boutique shopping centre and office spaces.
To elevate both the aesthetics and functionality of these areas, Benoy meticulously crafted a top-tier design, display, and multi-purpose experience centre. Through thoughtful consideration of user needs and customer groups, the team developed comprehensive spatial design plans and soft furnishing schemes.
To accentuate the project’s design and utility, Benoy created a top-quality, multi-purpose experience centre, segmented into four themed levels using the “one step, one scene” method.
The layout, enriched by interplays of light and shadow, fosters engaging atmospheres, complemented by a minimalist ceiling design and natural marble accents for a sophisticated yet artistic ambiance. Furthermore, the one-way flow design not only immerses visitors in captivating experiences but also streamlines the flow of foot traffic throughout the space. The experience centre encompasses office meeting areas, reception spaces, model displays, landscape lounges, and multimedia audio-visual zones.
