Based in the heart of Shanghai’s thriving financial district, this retail project needed to cater to millions of everyday visitors and commuters through innovative designs. While functionality was paramount, the project needed contemporary ideas to create a stylish and inspiring multi-use space.
Benoy designed an exciting interior scheme that directly links to the Pearl Tower, MRT underground, hotels and offices. Housing six levels of retail, the expansive development includes express escalators to provide smoother movement throughout an open, stylish space.
Shanghai ifc is an opulent shopping mall with suspended crystal sculptures, premium materials, and ambient lighting, while the angular skylight contrasts with the fluid layout. Luxury shopping and fine dining, as well as convenient supermarket and food court facilities, make the Shanghai ifc a versatile space in the modern world.
