Challenge
White Magnolia Plaza was originally set to become a high-end, luxurious shopping mall, but at the beginning of 2017, the client suddenly changed the target market to the younger generation and wanted to offer a more experiential retail experience. Addressing their concerns and realising their vision, we had to create an innovative and dynamic space whilst meeting the needs of a wide range of customers.
Solution
Throughout a modern and stylish urban backdrop, a series of ‘moments’ create a retail journey for younger shoppers. Sustainable green walls, sport and leisure facilities, retail zones surrounding an international food market, and impressive high level skylights generate a more spacious and open experience. These features, to name but a few, completely transform the space from its previous concept.
Result
Opened in December 2018.
