Our retail interior design team was mandated with creating a bespoke, luxury sleep experience for Sleep Country’s new premium mattress and bedding brand. The store is located in Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre, one of North America’s top malls. As a flagship store, The Rest needed to stand out within an elevated, contemporary environment among other luxury brands.
The new experiential, premium sleep journey, housing private and national brand mattresses and sleep products, is visually supported through high-end residential material and finishes like velvet, marble and wenge wood. The space is divided into 2 zones where guests are welcomed through floor to ceiling double doors into the accessory bedding boutique. The space is warm, approachable and luxurious.
The store inaugurated its opening to the public on 21 November 2023.
