Benoy were briefed to create an interior design scheme for a new International Airport. The scheme had to reflect the surrounding landscape, while preserving the spirit of the original designs proposed by Foster’s + Partners. The interior also needed to enable a high-end experience for all passengers and visitors, blending aesthetics with the technical requirements of a modern aviation environment.

In our proposal, we conducted a detailed assessment of all design requirements and coordinated closely with the client and subconsultants. Remaining true to the original design, our proposed concepts incorporate the curvilinear forms of the surrounding desert to create a rich and elegant airport interior. We also outlined a sourcing process that will ensure maximum quality for all materials used.

Our design developments and proposals have been accepted and we are awaiting confirmation to move to the tender phase.
